I have just inherited a whole load of furniture from my grandparents and have no idea where to put it all. A friend suggested to me that I should put the furniture in
Self Storage until I had figured out what to do with it. She told me that
Self Storage was the ideal solution as it meant that I could take my time over deciding whether to keep or to sell the furniture. I took her advice and contacted some
Self Storage firms in the area and managed to find a good price for storing the furniture. I was really glad that I had done this and felt it gave me some much needed thinking space about what to do with my inheritance. When I spoke to my husband about it his initial reaction was that we should sell the lot but I was against this for a number of reasons. Firstly, this was my inheritance which my grandparents had left and they had left it to me for a reason. Secondly, I had always loved their furniture and really wanted to use it if I could. Thirdly, I knew that the furniture is worth a lot of money and it would be worth even more if we held on to it for a few years.
